Tim George

Chairman & Co-founder

A successful technology entrepreneur, Tim gets a kick out of change and thrives in environments without limits. Passionate about how next-generation technology’s transforming the way we work, and helping to shape our everyday lives, he’s committed to continuous learning and exploring new tech innovations. But his enthusiasm for new emerging technologies remains grounded in the ‘why’. Taking a logical approach, Tim’s focus is on delivering real benefits that help the business achieve its overall goals.

Russell Todhunter

CEO & Co-founder

A true visionary, Russell logically works through any challenge, setting a clear and concise goal with a realistic strategy to back it up. While he may lead Atech, Russell‘s conscious about ensuring he’s accessible to its people and clients. Carefully handpicking the senior leadership team and creating a culture the whole team’s proud of, Russell has set high standards. Dedicated to ensuring his own continuous improvements as well as those of Atech and its team, he’s committed to leading the business to meet its targets while staying true to the core values.

Ryan Langley

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

With a strong background in IT networks, IT infrastructure and cyber security, Ryan delivers efficient, turnkey solutions across a wide range of technologies and industries. His experience, backed up by a team that shares a passion for delivering technology that makes a difference, enables Atech to constantly exceed customer expectations. Delivering an outstanding service lies at the core of Atech’s client commitment and sitting on the senior leadership team enables Ryan to ensure the services delivered continue to meet customers’ requirements.

“The people that know me best would say I’m a perfectionist because I have an eye for detail.”

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

“I’m a big sports fan. I play football and golf but will pretty much watch any sport. Having recently had a child, that takes up a lot of my personal time but it’s always good to catch up with friends.”

Jane Sheffield

Human Resources Director

With over 3 decades of experience within the IT industry, Jane has brought extensive knowledge to every area within Atech. Starting out as sales manager, she quickly moved into the role of operations director and today sits as Atech’s HR director with responsibility for the marketing function. This breadth of prowess perfectly positions her to strengthen the link between people, process and technology within the business. Jane’s commitment to Atech, and her willingness to take on new challenges, was fundamental to her role in leading our ISO 27001 accreditation.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

“I go from one extreme to the other. I’m a fan of high-adrenaline motor sport but also love gardening. I love time alone learning about new things but, equally, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.”

Andrew Simcock

Finance Director

With a strong background in finance, Andrew has experience working in tax, treasury, financial accounting and financial planning and analysis. Responsible for Atech’s accounting, facilities, IT, procurement and legal functions, Andrew’s keen to share his insight with the team to improve the company’s offering. And, in a short time, he’s enhanced Atech’s processes for everything from procurement, payroll and accounts payable to, financial reporting, cash management and financial analysis.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

“It has to be spending time with my family, travelling together or hiking. Otherwise, I’m a football fan and I enjoy playing computer games, reading and watching films to relax.”

Matt Jarvis

Commercial Director

Delivering exceptional client service for over 20 years, Matt brings to Atech a wealth of experience in how to build effective partnerships. Working closely with senior people – including directors, CEOs and CFOs responsible for IT within their organisations – his focus is on building and delivering a strategic vision supported by a comprehensive suite of IT services. This requires following a logical process to understand challenges facing the business, considering the current and future technology requirements, and employing clear communication to help them achieve their goals.

“Treat people as you want to be treated, it shapes the way you interact and sets the tone for the relationship.”

“I love a quiet night in, time to relax with a glass of wine, perhaps watching something on Netflix, choosing something I know is light-hearted and will make me laugh out loud.”

Management Team

Anthony Hill

Infrastructure Manager

With a background in enterprise storage and storage connectivity, Anthony brings the best practice solutions from large-scale IT infrastructures to Atech’s SME clients. His specialist knowledge spans virtualisation, Software Defined Storage (SDS) and disaster recovery. Establishing high-standards for his team, which are carried through to Atech’s customer service commitment, Anthony enables open-flow discussion, support and guidance to create a high-performance technical support team.

“I enjoy road cycling and last year rode the ‘London to Brighton’ event in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital. I’m also head coach for my son’s rugby union team (U10s). And I’m an avid photographer.”

Leigh Coyle

Head of Project Delivery

With a solid technical background –which includes a Masters in IT Systems – together with management and leadership experience, Leigh is perfectly placed to bring Atech’s professional services, cloud managed services and sales together to constantly exceed customer expectations. Her vast experience, which spans start-ups to large multinationals across EMEA and includes a Six Sigma Black Belt, enables Leigh to work closely with Atech’s clients to easily manage a large portfolio of customer projects and programmes of all sizes.

“I’m quite a sociable person, so I like going to concerts or eating out. I also seek out new experiences such as cocktail making or travelling. And I love home life – whether it’s shaping the house up with interior design or hanging out with the family.”

Rob Metcalf

Head of Cloud & Infrastructure

With oversight of the project lifecycle, Rob manages Atech’s team of IT infrastructure consultants who research, design and implement cloud and infrastructure solutions using the latest technology innovations. Remaining focussed on delivering immediate and long-term value to the client, he champions cloud technology to increase efficiency, performance and reliability while minimising complexity. True to supporting Atech’s customer requirements, Rob invests in exploring emerging technologies, testing new solutions and delivering projects

“My wife recently gave birth to a baby boy, which has significantly changed my life. Before that, I spent my time travelling, cooking and playing sport – mainly squash and football.”
